Question Time...

See what I did there? Very smart, using my new stamp set to start the post.
So I just found my camera and have been taking some nice pictures this evening. I'm so excited that I csn finally put my pictures on the blog, all the other pictures were from the internet. I don't think blogs are complete without a picture, even if they aren't great quality. It's just nicer to go out and take pictures with your camera than your phone, I guess.

So let's get to the topic: questions.
I have a lot of questions, most of them weird, wonderful, or just random. I asked people I know what question bugs them or what question they think about a lot. Here is one of mine:
  • Why did someone invent smooth peanut butter?
I will post the other questions along with my next post, but for now I don't have enough interesting questions. Someone who is eight asked me why his maths book is different to the maths book from the year ahead of him. What?!?

If any of you were wondering about the new school thing, my parents had a meeting in school today and the teachers and my parents think I should go to the secondary. Yay! I already have my uniform and shoes (another pair of converse to add to my selection of them!) bought like a week ago. I never had a uniform in school before what's it like? Are they usually strict?

So do any of you have any questions? I'd really like an internet friend, so I can have someone to talk to online and not just offline.  So I am going to start putting the link to my blog on other blogs so people can read my blog, and I would love to read theirs. I have a feeling I said this already, and I don't care if I did. Feel free to leave the link to your blog or YouTube channel in the comments below, I will replay in the next 24 hours. Also ask some questions down below or just say some stuff about yourself.

Come back and read my next post!

Ginger and Chocolate Biscuits

Hi guys! This is a really nice recipe, which I found in a cookbook in my kitchen (a really old one without a publisher written on it!) and I came across a recipe for 'biscuits'. They could have came up with something more original! Anyway, I tried that recipe but the biscuits were very plain and boring, so I decided to spice it up a little (I actually used spices) ;) Here is the recipe I use (which is half from the book and half from me!) Makes about 18 biscuits (it depends on the cookie cutter you use, really) For the biscuits: 350g plain flour 3 teaspoons of ground ginger, or 4 teaspoons if you're a ginger lover! 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda 100g butter 175g soft light brown sugar 1 egg 4 tablespoons of golden syrup For the chocolate icing (don't really know what to call it!): 165g milk/dark chocolate (whichever you prefer) Handful of sprinkles Heat your oven to 180C, 350F gas mark 4. Storage:Keep in an airtight container and eat within six d...

Stuff To Do On a Rainy Day

Hi!  I hope you all liked my short story, and if you haven't seen it yet, check it out. So it's really rainy outside, so I thought I'd make a list (long term readers, you get me by now) of things you can do on rainy days. But first, here's a little picture of what the weather was like yesterday, just to show you how annoying the weather is: Argh! How irritating! Here's the list: A short list of things to do on a rainy day Find a board game Even though they have gone a bit out of fashion, they are still fun at desperate times, like on rainy days. Start writing a story All you need is some characters, something you are interested in, an unexpecting twist and an imagination for this on a rainy day. Bake a cake This can be really fun on a dull day, and a piece of cake can really help. You don’t have to bake a cake, you can make anything with the ingredients you have. Clean your room This doesn’t sound fun. But i...

How to talk to someone (without them dying of boredom)

Hello! I'm back. It's been eleven days since my last post. How was your Christmas? Did you have a brilliant New Year? So you may have noticed the extremely weird and long title? You probably did. You know when you are having a conversation and then you both don't know what to say and there's a long, akward silence where you stand there for ages and then end up saying "So..." on repeat? This list of non-small talk questions will make your talking life much more interesting. Obviously you should always start with introducing yourself, ask them the usual questions and once you get to know them better, ask them some of these random questions: If you were an instrument, which one would you be, and why? If you could bring a fictional character to life who would it be, and why? If you were an animal what would you be, where would you live, and why? If you weren't human, what living thing would you be, and why? If you were an item of clothing, what wo...
